Today, we have a number of challenges to meet: the Education of our children, the contraction of our Economy, and the cultivation of our Energy resources. These challenges are also opportunities to provide a better future for our children; create more jobs; and lead the nation not only in the production of coal and natural gas, but the development of alternative energies. I believe in my heart that the people of West Virginia have the know-how and work ethic to meet these challenges and realize our opportunities. That’s why I decided to come back to my hometown of Charleston, West Virginia to serve the people of Kanawha County and make a difference in the lives of all West Virginians. Therefore, I ask for your support in my campaign for the 8th District State Senate seat here in Kanawha County.
